Number one, we are a local small farmer. Not a huge ranch in New Zealand with thousands of sheep running over thousands of acres. Your lamb will go directly from the farm to the processor and then to you. We treat them with respect and go through all of the processes as quickly and gently as possible.
Number two, guarantee that your lamb is antibiotic and hormone free. Our lambs stay in the pastures with their mothers from the time they are born until the time they are harvested. They receive their mothers milk until they are ready to nibble grass alongside their mothers.
Number 3, it is a proven fact that animals that are fed largely on grass contain less fat, more CLA and more omega-3 fats than grain fed. It contains more vitamins A and E and more of the antioxidants luetein, zeaxanthin, and beta-carotene than their industrial counterparts.
